POLAND RESIDENCE PERMIT ON THE BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT
A residence permit based on employment is a special residence permit that entitles foreigners to live and work in Poland for a fixed period of time. It is an excellent choice for those seeking stable employment, professional experience and the possibility of a long-term stay in the country. This card gives you both the right to work legally for a specific employer or in a specific field, and the possibility to stay in Poland without the need to extend your visa or leave the country.
The residence card is issued on the basis of employment:
- Foreigners who have entered into an employment contract with a Polish employer.
- Specialists who want to work in Poland under a contract.
- Representatives of professions in high demand in Poland, including IT specialists, builders, healthcare workers and other categories.
Advantages of the Employee Card:
1. Legal employment. The card allows you to work without the need to obtain additional permits.
2. Long-term stay. After receiving the card, you can stay in Poland without a visa for the entire period of validity of the card.
3. Travelling in the Schengen area. Cardholders are entitled to travel to Schengen countries for up to 90 days without a visa.
4. Possibility to change employer. Under certain conditions, you can change your employer without having to cancel your card, which gives you flexibility.

The service takes 7-8 months in case of personal submission, and more than 1 year if the documents are submitted by post.
